Description

ROCK IS THE MEDIUM THAT CLIMBERS PLAY ON OUTSIDE AND OFFERS A HUGE VARIETY OF FEATURES THAT OFFER DIFFERENT TYPES OF CLIMBING AND LOTS OF VERTICAL FUN. BUT ROCK IS ALSO HARD. IT’S NOT PLIABLE; IT DOESN’T GIVE; IT’S UNFORGIVING. CLIMB YOUR WAY TO A STRONGER BODY AND MIND, LITERALLY!

GEORGIA  IS BUILT UPON THE CAUCASUS MOUNTAINS, SO IT’S A VERY WELL-KNOWN FACT THAT IT IS A PERFECT CLIMBING DESTINATION AND CAN ACCOMMODATE A WIDE RANGE OF ADVENTURISTS.

Highly professional guides are available for the recreational climbers while the high-altitude peaks will challenge even the most seasoned. The mountainous regions of Svaneti or Tusheti offer plenty of climbing resources available. Depending on the altitudes you are comfortable with, climbing conditions in Georgia’s mountains range from mild to extreme.

Regardless of the venue, rock climbing is a physically and mentally challenging sport that will test your mental balance along with strength, endurance and agility. Knowledge of the right technique and equipment needed for your climb is crucial. You need to be in good shape and health to start climbing even as a beginner: if you have back, neck or knee injuries, you’ll find this is not the sport for you due to the prolonged muscle strain. Age and sex are not an issue as long as you have the upper body strength to match your weight, as you are physically lifting yourself up a wall.

THESE ARE JUST A FEW DIFFERENT STYLES AND TYPES OF CLIMBING. OTHER FORMS OF CLIMBING THAT HAVE NOT BEEN DISCUSSED ARE ALPINE, MOUNTAINEERING AND ICE CLIMBING. THESE STYLES ARE MEANT FOR MORE PROFESSIONAL PREPARATION AND ARE ORGANIZED ON THE SPECIAL REQUEST WITH HIGHLY QUALIFIED INSTRUCTORS.
