National Tourism Administration spent 138 991 GEL for the press and info-tours in the frame of the project ”Meet Georgia” during the 2015-2016 years. According to ”Business Course” information provided by the National Tourism Administration, 8 media tours were held and 41 reportages have produced within the project. Total expenditure amounted to 54 358 GEL.

As for the 2016, ”Meet Georgia” project was paid 84 633 GEL and in the frames of 11 press and info-tour,62 stories were broadcasted in the media.

According to new information, 150 000 GEL will be allocated for media tours in 2017.

This project has already been held in Mtskheta-Mtianeti and Imereti (total cost of 7 932 GEL) now we are planning to arrive in Imereti, particularly in Kharagauli municipality and Kakheti region, in the Pankisi Gorge. We tend to hold tours in various regions by the end of the year and now we’re processing the details.

The evaluation of the project is possible by the number of visits made by internal visitors, which is increased by 5% in 2016 compared to 2015.
