The Mayor of Tbilisi talked about Street Art today, and ordered his deputies to set up places where young artists wil be able to paint the walls.

“The first such project has already been done on the underground crossing at Heroes Square. “Street Art” is one of the most free form of contemporary visual arts and is a means of self-expression. Unfortunately, we have a lot of unreasonable building-structures, walls, bridges, underground crossings and such locations and we would like to give young people the opportunity to make them smoother and take their talents to the city, “said Kakha Kaladze.

By his instruction, the city painting will begin in the near future.
