The Greek airline ELLINAIR will operate regular flights to Tbilisi. A result of successful completion of negotiations between Georgian Airports Unions and Greek Airline ELLINAIR, regular flights will resume from May from Tbilisi International Airport to Thessaloniki and Crete Island.
AIRBUS 320 and BOEING 737 airplanes will operate once a week, every Tuesday to Tbilisi- Thessaloniki- Tbilisi from May 22. While from June 14, flights will perform twice a week – every Tuesday and Thursday. One way ticket price will start from 297 GEL, while round trip price will start from 591 GEL.
Additionally, from June 14, flights from Tbilisi International Airport to Crete Island will be performed. The flight to Heraklion Airport will be done once a week, every Thursday and round trip ticket price will be 765 GEL.
Air ticket price includes: 8 kg hand luggage; 20 kg baggage; Meals on board; refreshing and alcoholic beverages.
Georgian Airports Union representatives state that Greece is one of the most popular destinations in Georgia and adding these flights will enhance tourism potential between the two countries.
