For the first time in the history of Georgian wine Badagoni Brut  was awarded with the 2018 Trophy “Best Sparkling” at the prestigious Asian Wine Review (AWR) International Wine Competition.

Badagoni’s wine received a rating of 97, and is characterized as follows: “Good colour, refreshing nose, showing varietal characters and complexity, fine bubbles, floral and citrus, long saline finish with hints of minerality. Balanced, well-made, great effort”.

The award ceremony will be held on March 10, 2018 in Hong Kong, where Mr. Giorgi Salakaia, the owner and CEO of Badagoni is invited to receive the award.
