8 Protected Area of Georgia from the Caucasus Nature Fund (CNF) will receive € 1,1 million euro grant.
The agreement was signed by the Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture, Agency for Protected Areas and Caucasus Nature Fund.
Within the framework of the grant Agreement, trainings are planned to increase the qualifications of the staff of the protected areas; The auto park will be renewed, which will facilitate better implementation of Ranger’s activities and ensure more efficient detection of offenses.
Giorgi Khanishvili, Deputy Minister of Environment Protection and Agriculture talked about the importance of cooperation with international donor organizations and their support for various directions.
The Executive Director of Caucasus Nature Fund George Giacomini emphesized the importance of financial support for the people who care about nature conservation within the grant of the National Parks and Protected Areas by the Caucasus Nature Fund.
