Over the past four years, we have introduced new technologies, renovated many existing systems and we were the first ones in the region to introduce free routes, which will be direct and short air routes of Georgia airspace. The short air space implies the reduction of operating costs and negative impacts on ecology. The ongoing processes are more efficient in managing air traffic, increasing the interest of foreign airlines to Georgia, which in itself positively affects tourism and development of the country’s economy, “said Gocha Mezvrishvili, Director General of Sakaeronavigatsia.
