Georgian wine tasting and presentation was held in Alicante, Spain, in the framework of ”Georgian Culture Days”.

Giorgi Sikharulidze, chief specialist of the Marketing and Public Relations Department of the National Wine Agency, held presentation entitled “Georgia – Cradle of Wine”. He also carried a seminar on Georgian wine for guests, where Georgian wine was presented for tasting. The event was attended by trade networks and media representatives, sommeliers and importers.

“Georgian wine impressed guests and caused their interest. Many questions were asked . Such events are very important for the promotion and to increase  awareness of Georgian wine “- noted Giorgi Sikharulidze.

“Georgian Culture Days” was organized by the Diaspora Association of Georgia “Republic of Georgia and Emigrants” in Alicante.
The five-day event was accompanied by Georgian immigrants from different cities of Spain and local residents. The event was held at the Alicante Exhibition Center “Plaza Seneca”, together with Georgian wines, various works of artists, handmade items, jewelry and Georgian folklore were presented.
