Visitors interested in canyon trips can now enjoy new infrastructure at western Georgia’s Kapnistavi Canyon, with waterfalls providing backdrop to adventure activities in the location.

The setting up of new amenities was announced by the Adjara Tourism Department, which said the location, located 26 kilometres from the Black Sea city of Batumi, was ready to host travellers.
It also said the Kapnistavi Canyon would host adventure-seekers with a cascading waterfall and ropes set up for activities.

Enthusiasts of extreme tourism can also find a dozen other cascading waterfalls in the Adjara region, with the Uchkho Gorge, located 1,000 metres above sea level in Khulo Municipality, ready to receive visitors.
