According to the 2018 January indicators, Enterprise Georgia has approved 38 projects as part of hotel industry development program. Total investment value of the projects exceeds 113 million GEL.
The hotels will offer 1174 new suites in addition and create more than 1200 new job places.
Giorgi Chogovadze, head of national tourism administration, talks about importance of development and expansion of hotels network in Georgia amid a growing inflow of tourists: “Enterprise Georgia” follows this goal and I would like to assure you that government will enhance support in this direction”, Giorgi Chogovadze said.
The first sectoral meeting with Host in Georgia program beneficiary companies, which was organized by Enterprise Georgia program, discussed the current challenges and needs in the sector.
