Tbilisi Airport Restores Flights by 76% and Kutaisi Airport Regains 80% of Flights
Tbilisi and Kutaisi International Airport have regained the greater part of the pre-pandemic flights, the Civil Aviation Agency reports.
As of August 1, thirty-two (32) airlines operate at Tbilisi International Airport and perform flights to 32 destinations in 24 countries.
Furthermore, as compared to the same period of 2019, Tbilisi International Airport has regained 76% of flights (230-240 frequencies a week) and 95% of air destinations.
At the same time, three (3) airlines operate at Kutaisi International Airport and perform flights to 21 destinations in 12 countries. As compared to the same period of 2019, Kutaisi International Airport has restored 80% of flights (55-60 frequencies a week) and 72% of destinations, the Civil Aviation Agency’s statement reads.
