Company Fregobus plants to introduce first electric buses in Tbilisi for demonstration. The company is aiming at producing and exporting electric buses in Georgia, with German company Euro Bus.
As Head of Frego Bus, Murman Pataraia explained at BM, according to the agreement with Tbilisi City Hall, electric bus will operate as N 61 during two weeks.
”We decided to introduce electric bus in Tbilisi in order to break stereotypes. Mentioned bus operates perfectly as on flat surface, as well as ascent. It is Eco-friendly, covers 250 kilometers, it doesn’t make noise or segregates polluted air. We cooperate with every party to convince them how relevant it is for our city, based on ecological condition,”-says Murman Pataraia.
