"Tvisi" (one’s own, relative) - a company that combines wine and art into one concept.
Giorgi Gegelia and TikoDarsavelidze had the idea of establishing the company, but they are working in a completely different fields. Giorgi's family has been following winemaking for years now and Tiko has been working in the field of jewelery for 7 years, she creates enamel works on Georgian motives.
"The idea was to unite these two activities and combine wine culture and Georgian art", - said Giorgi Gegelia in "SaqmianiDila".
Wine is made with Saperavi grown in Kakheti, according to old traditions, while illustrations are from "The Knight in the Panther's Skin". All the etiquettes are handmade and all of them are unique.
The product created by Giorgi and Tikois a gift type. It is in the box with a small book about the history of Georgian wine. The book also contains information about Shota Rustaveli with a few strophes from "The Knight in the Panther's Skin" into two languages - Georgian and English.
"Tvisi" is considered to be a special gift and in the main case it is given to foreign delegates. So far, the friends' business is small, but they plan to export their products to the world market, so they will be able to introduce Georgian culture, art and wine to the whole world.
