As of 10:00 AM of September 25, winegrowers in Kakheti Region have earned 96 mln GEL from sales of grapes to winemaking companies.

At this stage, companies have processed about 85 thousand tons of grapes, including 40 000 tons of Rkatsiteli, 39 thousand tons of Saperavi, 2.6 thousand tons of Kakhetian green and other varieties

According to National Wine Agency, more than 100 winemaking companies are participating in the vintage process. Daily processing volume made up 5000 tons. 

Processing volume due to municipalities is as follows: Kvareli – 28.4 thousand tons, Gurjaani – 23.2 thousand tons, Telavi – 15.1 thousand tons, Sighnaghi – 8.5 thousand tons, Lagodekhi – 3 thousand tons, Dedoplistskaro – 2.2 thousand tons, Akhmeta – 2.5 thousand tons and Sagarejo – 2 thousand tons.
