Public Festivals

Various types of traditional festivals and events are regularly held in almost every part of Ajara. They are interesting for foreign guests as well as visitors coming from different parts of Georgia inasmuch as they reflect customs and traditions of Ajara region. The following festivals can be singled out: “Shuamtoba”, “Kolkhoba”, “Kedeloba”, “Tbeloba”, “Machakhloba”, “Selimoba”, “Gomarduloba”, “Merisoba”, etc.
