Chinese Company Interested in Building 5-Start Hotel and Golf Playgrounds in Georgia
The Partnership Fund’s executive director David Saganelidze has received a delegation of Beijing Xin Changcheng International Travel Agency Limited company, the China’s major travel company. The delegation was led by the company director general Tsuo Chamg Hua.
The Chinese company is interested in making investments in Georgia’s tourism sector and shows readiness to get involved in Georgia’s tourism industry. At the official meeting of the Fund, the Chinese party expressed readiness for building a 5-start hotel and golf playgrounds in Georgia. The parties also discussed the issue of starting direct flights between China, Georgia and Europe.
The Partnership Fund’s executive director David Saganelidze updated the delegation members on the fund activities, mandate, priorities, ongoing projects in tourism sector and Tskaltubo and Racha development concepts.
The Chinese company is interested in making investments in recreational-rehabilitation resorts. The parties discussed future cooperation perspectives.
According to the 2016 indicators, number of Chinese tourists exceeded 122 million persons worldwide. The Chinese company plans to organize top level tours in Georgia with focus on popularization of Georgian culture, wine and historical heritage.
