For the purpose of shaping Tbilisi as a transportation hub, businessman Giorgi Kodua demands for revising agreement with TAV Georgia.

Arab investors are ready to enter Georgian market with 15 airplanes and launch direct flights to Los Angeles, Toronto and so on, he said. The project requirs additional infrastructure, he said.

“We plan to convey 15 airplanes and we need at least 10 Gates. We plan to convey transcontinental airplane AIRBUS 340 that will fly from Tbilisi to Los Angeles, Toronto, Tokyo, Beijing”, Kodua noted.

To this end, TAV Georgia, a Tbilisi International Airport operator company, should add 5 Gates at Tbilisi Airport or concede unused terminal, where Arab investors will arrange gates, Kodua said.
