On behalf of the Agency of Protected Areas, tourist season opening Festival MZE MOE will be held at Tusheti National Park on June 25-26.

Festival gives the visitors a chance to share local art and take part in traditional games and activities, purchase local handicrafts and samples, taste traditional cuisine, and learn about local folk art. 

Representatives from 50 villages will take part in traditional games and cuisine festival.

First Day 

13:00-13:30 Grand Opening 
13:30-14:00 Short historical review of Tushetian people and life 
14:00-15:00 Сoncert – Lela Tataraidze and group Kesane 
15:00-17:00 Academy of Khridoli – Traditional Georgian Martial Art 
17:00-17:30 Winners awarding ceremony 
17:00-20:00 Exhibition, traditional cuisine, horse racing, sheep shaving 
20:00 Concert –Bani-folk band


Second Day 

On the second day, hiking and horse riding tours will be arranged at Tusheti National Park 
Location: Kvemo Omalo, Tusheti National Park Visitor Centre 

* Off-road vehicle is necessary to access Kvemo Omalo
