The government of Georgia will approve the Mitarbi resort development plan in about 2 months.

The Mitarbi resort development plan has been prepared jointly with GRD company and at this stage the plan is being adapted with the Georgian legislation, Sandro Onoprishvili, head of the Mountain Resorts development company, told the Business Contact.

“In about 2 months we will receive a document that will enable us to develop the village of Mitarbi in accurate and purposeful way.

This is an only place, where we can say  that we have prepared a plan first and then started the resort development.

Previously, for many years, resorts construction works were carried out first and the plans were adapted only after that”, Sandro Onoprishvili said.

As to ski resorts, the official inauguration ceremony is scheduled for December 10.
