The company "Local Host" is incoming tour operator, which via its work maximum tries to promote his country. 9 months ago, the company founded by three young, energetic persons. One of the founders is company's general director, with 10 years experience in the field of tourism, Mr. David Vardanashvili.
 
What are the plans to access for the next 5-10 years, are you planning to expand your business?
Company visions are connected to a daily development and with promotion of Georgia on the foreign markets. Accordingly, the aim in nearest 5-10 years is to increase company at least in 5-10-fold. Also I have to emphasize "our director's", (which is now officially mentioned, but generally very friendly manager's) effort, who does not regret his energy for developing his young team to bring success for its company and for country. His friendly relation make working atmosphere very free and for me, as for ordinary employee it is pleasure to come on work every morning and the most pleasant is to realize that company rises with you. 
 
Do you have any recognition in the international and local market, certificates, achievements, etc?
Because of the "infancy" of the company it will be uncomfortable to say that we already have some reward. No, we don’t really have certificates and prizes yet, but the participation in the award has detected our willingness and desire to be the country's and not only in our country's, one of the stand out tour operator. Many interesting projects planned by our company will gradually introduce to the market.
 
Briefly tell us what obstacles are encountered in the tourism sector and familiarize us with your vision of solving problems?
The most interesting part of our job is discussions of cases, what problem happened, what went wrong. It is more about relationship with foreign partners. We often face the problem of trust, when trying to improve so-called "somebody's spoiled" job and showing Georgia in other perspective, that not all companies are equally unsettled, not all the drivers or staff are rude and unorganized. The problems are also in most popular destinations, because of no established infrastructure and simply because of lack of toilets. However, we hope that this problems will be solved with our and many others companies efforts in this field and also by cooperation with government. 
What do you think about national award – Welcome To Georgia?
We can say about Georgian National Tourism Award,  that it is the most prestigious ceremony for legal entities in this field for showing their success, as well as for beginners to compete with healthy and different vision, for their stimulation.
How would you summarize the 2016 tourist seasons?
As you know, in tourism sphere, especially in European partner countries, sales season starts in September. I'm sure that's why the award preparation starts from the beginning of July. During this period the company sums up the "past" year. Accordingly, and despite the fact that our company was founded during the sales season was almost out, according to competitors, quite a lot done. Of course, we don't agree with this, but for 9-month company it's still good result. We promise that next year we will take leading positions in sales. Yes, we have the ambition and the real possibility.
