The Туту.ру  portal has named the most popular tourism destinations for Russian tourists  for the coming New Year.

According to the ticket sales portal, Kishinev is leader in terms of sold tickets for New Year period. This city maintains the leading position for several years.

“Supposedly, Russian tourists visit Kishinev for recreational or business purposes rather than for traveling.. We presume that in the New Year period, Russian citizens plan to see their relatives in Kishinev”, the company representatives noted. 

Prague is the second most popular New Year destination for Russian tourists and Tbilisi ranks third. Tel Aviv, Yerevan, Munich, Minsk, Vienna, Geneva and Bangkok are also very popular among Russian tourisms.

According to Туту.ру, price of air tickets has decreased by averaged 10%, but the demand will not rise sharply. Demand for January flights has increased by only 5-7%, the company representatives said.

Meanwhile, Mayel Travel company supposes that Georgian, Bulgarian and Armenian ski resorts are most in-demand and comparatively cheaper destinations for Russian tourists.
