Mtskheta Cruise company has started motorboat voyage services  on the river Mtkvari for tourists in Mtskheta. Mtskheta Cruise offers 30 minute tours by modern motorboat.

The company representatives told the Business Contract that guides provide tourists with full information  on Mtskheta culture monuments in 16 languages. The service tariff for corporate clients is 35 GEL, while individual package price is 39 GEL. The company launched operation in autumn 2016. Currently, the company owns two motorboats – for 10 passengers and 28 passengers.

The project’s investment value marked about 300 000 GEL. In spring 2017 a cafe will be also unveiled at the first location place of a motorboat. Moreover, green zone will be also arranged for wedding ceremonies.

The company co-founder Sulkhan Varshanidze told BusinessContract that polluted water and environment create problems.

“We have pollution problems. There is terrible situation on river banks. Household wasters are also dumped in the river. We plan to apply to due instances for correcting the situation”, Sulkhan Varshanidze said.
