Blues Fest –ge closes the series of blues evenings in Tbilisi with performance of the last representative of classical blues -  Lil Jimmy Reed.

After that the festival moves back to Lagodekhi and the audience , every week –end  will be given a treat by meeting and listening to different famous blues musicians.

Lil Jimmy Reed is the last representative of traditional, classical blues.

He was born at late 30-s and had opportunity to study and work with coryphaeus of blues.

His name is connected with legend of blues Jimmy Reed, Leon Atkins that is his name  , filled him in during several concerts  earned his sobriquet Lil Jimmy Reed and great success.

In 1995 the musician was awarded  the title of the best  harmonica player.

He performed with such musicians as BB King, Marvin Sease, and others.

Lil Jimmy Reed travels a lot and gives a treat with his traditional and special activities especially to European audience who understands well that it is the last chance to listen to classical  blues, which was born in Louisiana.
