Borjomi visitors, locals to learn history of city landmarks, monuments from QR cubes
The City Hall of Georgia's central-western resort town of Borjomi on Wednesday said it had installed QR cubes to help locals and visitors learn about the history of landmarks and monuments in the location.
Placed at three locations, the information is delivered in Georgian and English to smartphone users after scanning the codes.
The municipal authority added the cubes also helped visitors in organising virtual tours.
Otar Arbolishvili, the Mayor of Borjomi Municipality, said the project was “very comfortable” for both residents and visitors looking to learn about cultural heritage and history of the sites.
