Georgia-Kuwait start direct flights

Kuwait Wataniya Airways will begin regular air service between Kuwait City and Tbilisi, Georgia’s Civil Aviation Agency has reported.

The direct flights will be launched from July 11 and will continue until October 29. 

The flights will be carried out three times a week: on Monday, Tuesday and Friday with an Airbus A320 aircraft. 

Georgia and Kuwait signed an air service agreement in 2012.

In 2014-2016 Georgian Airways-Airzena carried out direct flights between the two capitals of the countries, Tbilisi and Kuwait City.
