Ajara Tourism Department has presented tourism regional products at the International Tourism Exhibition of Japan, called “Jata Tourism Expo Japan 2017”.

According to department, the exhibition was participated by Georgian National Tourism Administration and tourism companies.

Ajara region participated in the world’s largest exhibition for the second time. Exhibition has 1310 tourism company participants from 130 countries. Visitors number reached 191 500 during three days.

Visitors were mostly interested in ski resorts, wine and rural tourism while watching advertising-promotional footage about Ajara.

Ajara Tourism Department has presented a total of 19 regional tourist exhibitions this year. Among them are important exhibitions in Frankfurt, Dubai, Berlin, Vilnius, Telavi, Riga, Tallinn and Wroclaw.

Department will take part in 4 exhibitions by the end of the year.
