"On Monday about 70 facilities were opened in the capital,"- said Shota Burjanadze, vice-president of the Restaurant Association.
He had communication with some of the restaurants opened yesterday and the result is unexpectedly positive.
"On Monday the open space of 70 out of 700 cafe-restaurants in the capital resumed its operation. The weather and the fact that the customers missed the cafe-restaurants also contributed. I had communication with only a part of the owners of the facilities yesterday and suddenly a positive assessment followed. Naturally, the situation will be different today due to the bad weather," Burjanadze told Business Press News.
Recall, after almost 3 months of closure, on Monday, food outlets were allowed to receive guests on the spot for the first time. According to the decision of the Coordinating Council, only open spaces of cafe-restaurants will function in the whole country.
