The Civil Aviation Agency has granted Wucher Helicopter GmbH the right to carry out flights to Georgian mountainous resorts during the winter season.

The Austrian company will carry out flights to Gudauri, Mestia and Goderdzi from January 15 to April 15 with three AS 350 B3 Ecureuil modern helicopters.

The flights will serve heli-skiing tours, delivering tourist groups of skiers and snowboarders to snowy, off-track mountain areas.

“This will attract tourists to Georgia and ensure a comfortable environment for them while visiting the mountainous resorts of the country,” the Civil Aviation Agency said in a release today
