Balneology Resort Owner Starts Negotiations with 2 International Operators

Tbilisi Balneology Resort is conducting negotiations with 2 international operators, Meydan Group director Ketevan Khurodze told BM.Ge. Its affiliate company Ialoni owns Balneology Resort.

Negoaitions are underway with quite famous hotel brands, however, the company has not been finally determined with which to sign the agreement, Ketevan Khurodze said.

At this stage, rehabilitation works are underway, but active phase will start after signature of the contract agreement.

Rehabilitated resort is expected to resume operation in January 2020, Ketevan Khurodze said. The facility will maintain its profile. The complex will also comprise a hotel with 100-120 suites.

The company is obliged to invest 8 million GEL. Ialoni company received Tbilisi Balneology Resort from the Government at the end of 2016.
