Issues related to the parking system and buses were discussed during the meeting at the Pekini Rehabilitation Headquarters.

“We discussed the technical issues at the meeting, including how the parking system will be located on the triangular – Pekini – Shartava – Kostava streets and the”; also where will bus lanes allocate. In the direction of parking, the Kostava street will be replaced by a 45-degree level, to drive more vehicles,

and add up to 60 squares of parking in Saakadze square. It was a matter of fact that we have been discussing with the patrol police and we have set up a bike path for about 900 meters, “said Mamuka Mumladze, Head of Tbilisi City Hall Transport Department of Transport.

Rehabilitation works on Pekini Street began on June 16 and will be completed in September.
