“Highly rated” British travel publication preparing new guide to Georgia
06 September, 2022

Bradt Travel Guide, a “highly rated” British travel publication, is preparing a new guide on the tourist potential of Georgia, set to be released next year and distributed worldwide, the Georgian National Tourism Administration said on Monday.

The national tourism body said the publication had sent a dispatch to Georgia to compile materials for the “multi-page guide” after visiting a number of visitor destinations of the country.

Hosted in the northern town of Stepantsminda and highland locations of Shatili, Pankisi Gorge and Tusheti, the visiting tourism media representative was also hosted in Napareuli, Gremi, Kvareli and Lagodekhi in the eastern winemaking region of Kakheti.

The Administration said a photo report on the destinations had been developed for use in the upcoming guide.

Bradt Travel Guide published a 368-page guide about Georgia back in 2018, where it focused on the capital of Tbilisi, the northern highland region of Svaneti and the Black Sea province of Adjara.
