Building of the city is planned along with the development of Ankalia Deep Water Sea Port.

“TBC Group” and “Conti Group” have already announced the plan and company “Anaklia City” is already founded, which will take care of the development of the city.

The new company would be supervised by a former economy minister Katie Bochorishvili.

“City of Anaklia is the future city, which main aim is to involve in global competition, create ecologically clean and economically attractive business and residential environment with modern infrastructure and the best location,” Mamuka Khazaradze, founder of TBC Holding said and noted that the team will be comprised with professionals.

The town Anaklia, which is considered as an important business center in the region, will be built on a 1000 hectare area near the Anaklia Port.

The industrial park and residential complexes will be developed in the city. However, spaces will be allocated for education, offices, recreational infrastructure, exhibition spaces and pavilions will be arranged. Anaklia is considered as a satellite city where urban planning will be based on information and communication technologies (ICT) that will improve the quality of life and make it more interesting and attractive.
