In summer 2017 Ellinair, a Greek airline, will launch regular flights from Heraklion to Tbilisi and from Thessaloníki to Tbilisi.

Thessaloníki-Tbilisi regular flights will be performed from May 18 to September 14, twice a week, Mondays and Thursdays, while Heraklion-Tbilisi flights will be performed from June 15 to September 14, once a week, Thursdays.

Flights will be performed by Boeing B737, Airbus A319, Airbus A320 and Avro RJ85 airplanes.

Civil Aviation Agency of Ministry of Economy of Georgia issued flights licenses for the mentioned destinations on April 13.

Ellinair entered Georgian aviation market in 2015 to perform seasonal flights to resort cities of Greece.
