Georgia to Host the Exhibition of Bordeaux Center for Wine and Civilizations 2017

By the end of June 2017, during next 3 months, Georgia will be the host and organizer of the exhibition regarding big-scale winery events at the new Bordeaux Center for Wine and Civilizations.

Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili revealed the information at the government meeting. He underlined that it is an achievement for Georgia and enables the country to introduce Georgian culture and wine to the world.

“It is the first time that wine civilization exhibition takes place at the Bordeaux Center for Wine and Civilizations, where Georgia is a host as the country of the earliest wine civilization. It is a very important event. During 3 months, from July to October, there will be ancient Georgian wine culture presented to visitors. The head of presentation team at the exhibition will be the minister of Agriculture.” 

“It is a really significant achievement that Georgia will be the host of the wine exhibition at the Bordeaux Center for Wine and Civilizations. It was something we couldn’t imagine few years ago, but now it is a reality” – declared Prime Minister.
