Georgia Takes 9th Place in Doing Business Rating

Georgia advanced in ”Doing Business” rating and moved to the 9th place.

The country was ranked 16th last year.

The rating score of the country in the World Bank is 82.04. The rating covers various criteria and the best result is Georgia’s minority shareholders protection criterion and occupies second place in the world. Georgia also occupies the fourth place in the property registration criteria.

The worst position in Georgia’s criterion is “trade without borders”, according to which the country is ranked 62nd.

Georgia occupies the 30th place in the criterion of electricity generation and 22nd place in the tax payer criterion.

Country’s position has not deteriorated in any criterion compared to the previous year.
