Airline Georgian Airways operates on the market since September 1993.

Initially, the airline operated charter flights in the United Arab Emirates, Italy, China, Egypt, India, Syria, and regular flights to Austria.

In 1999 the airline “Airzena” became the flagship airline of Georgia.

In August 2004, the airline changed its name and continued to operate under the name of Georgian Airways.
