Georgian Airways launched the first flight at BER (Berlin Brandenburg Airport).

Until today, the air company was operating flights to Berlin, SXF (Berlin Schönefeld Airport), but after opening a new airport, Georgian Airways will launch flights in the direction of Berlin Brandenburg Airport from now on.

Berlin’s new airport has been operating since October 31st. It will soon become the only airport in Berlin, who’s able to receive passengers after 9 years of delay.

The new airport was built on the side of Schönefeld International Airport. Both airports have one runway. The new airport is a mega project, that represents a modernized and expanded version of SXF.
