Ika Jalaghonia, a 29 year old self-educated musician, jointly with his friends Tamaz Kvaratskhelia and David Kartozia have created a new musical instrument – Cosmophone, as a result of tireless job and overnight working, Marketer.ge reports.

This instrument belongs to the family of drum instruments and it is Georgian analogue of Tong Drum.

At this stage, nine musical instruments exist with cosmic sounding – Cosmophone. The instrument authors say that the cosmophone may be used in combination with any other instruments on professional level. Combination and disposition of Cosmophone notes enable gives beautiful sounding. This signifies everybody is able to play Cosmophone instrument
