German journalists visit Georgia on press tour to promote countrys tourism potential
Journalists of Germany’s leading media outlets visited Georgia before publishing articles on adventure tourist attractions, eco-tourism and Georgian culture, as well as nightlife in the capital Tbilisi, the Georgian National Tourism Administration announced on Saturday.
The GNTA said the representatives of Deutschlandradio, the German public radio broadcaster, the Süddeutsche Zeitung, Munich-based one of the largest daily newspapers, German media group Hubert Burda Media Holding and other media outlets had already visited Georgia’s capital Tbilisi, the central-western resort town of Borjomi and Zhinvali reservoir.

The media professionals also went to see the north-eastern mountainous Khevsureti region, including villages Shatili, Ardoti, Mutso and Roshka, as well as the colourful lakes of Abudelauri.
As part of the tour, aiming to promote Georgia’s tourism potential in Germany, journalists also visited the Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park, a protected area in central Georgia.
