Ghvardzelashvilis Marani founder Giorgi Ghvardzelashvili plans to expand the wine cellar and build a boutique hotel.
In the village of Kondoli, Telavi District, Ghvardzelashvili produces 3 wine varieties on 2 hectares: Saperavi, Kondoluri, and Zhghia, he said.
As Giorgi Ghvardzelashvili told Business Partner, the Marani (wine cellar) expansion works are underway, while the hotel-boutique project will be implemented in the long-term period. Around GEL 20,000-25,000 will be invested in the Marani expansion project, he noted.
Ghvardzelashvilis Marani produces 5,000 bottles a year and the majority is exported to foreign countries: the USA, Germany, Czech Republic, Poland, and Netherlands. Ghvardzelashvilis Marani launched an operation in 2014.
