Japanese journalists have visited Georgia in a promotional campaign hosted by the Georgian National Tourism Administration with the support of the country’s Embassy in Japan, the GNTA said on Friday.

The press tour involved introducing the visitors to attractions in highlands of western Georgia's Black Sea coastline region of Adjara, western Imereti region and the winemaking Kakheti region in the east.

The journalists will use their impressions of the locations to produce promotional articles for Tokyo-based Transit magazine that covers cultures, people and landscapes of the world.
