Israel removes Georgia from ‘red country’ list, Israeli tourists to be allowed to travel to Georgia starting Sep. 1
Israeli tourists will be able to visit Georgia again starting September 1, but will be subjected to self-isolation or quarantine upon their return to their home country following the decision of the Israeli government to remove Georgia from the red list and place it on the orange country list.
We’re delighted to announce that as of yesterday the Israeli government no longer considers Georgia to be a ‘red country’, but ‘orange’", announces the Embassy of Israel to Georgia.
Israel removed Georgia from the ‘safe country’ list on July 30 following the sharp increase in coronavirus cases in the country.
Georgia has reported 5,924 new cases of coronavirus, 4,777 recoveries and 60 deaths in the past 24 hours.
