Jazeera Airways, a Kuwaiti-based budget airline, will add a new destination in Georgia to its flights starting this summer, the Georgian Civil Aviation Agency said on Thursday.

The Agency added it had granted permission to the company to operate flights between the capital of Kuwait and Georgia’s Black Sea city of Batumi between June 14-September 16. 

This marks the first time that Jazeera Airways will be operating in this direction”, the Agency said, noting the airline would operate seven flights every week during the period.

Jazeera Airways operates flights between Kuwait City and Tbilisi, the Georgian capital.
