The Enterprise Georgia state agency on Wednesday said its Director Mikheil Khidureli had met Khalid A. Al-Falih, the Minister of Investment of Saudi Arabia, as well as Saudi companies and potential investors from the country to discuss investment opportunities in Georgia. 

Hosted as part of the World Tourism Day in Saudi Arabia’s capital of Riyadh on September 27-28, the meetings were organised by Zurab Pololikashvili, the Secretary-General of the World Tourism Organisation. 

During the discussions, Georgia was highlighted as "world's fastest-growing economy”, and the parties discussed business development initiatives and the “favourable” investment and trade environment in the country, Enterprise Georgia said.
