Mikho Svimonishvili to Poduce Cheese in Dmanisi with Swiss-Georgian Technology

Swiss-Georgian cheese production starts in Dmanisi.

The project is implemented by the Swiss agrarian college "Caucasus", which founder is a former minister of agriculture and owner of Margebeli Holding, Mikho Simonishvili.

A modern cheese factory meeting Swiss standards will open in April.

As the director of the college, Tinatin Makharadze mentioned, the factory will be able to produce a full assortment of dairy products, however, up to 10 varieties of cheese will be produced at the initial stage. 

According to her, the company plans to launch production in the local market, and in the future, cheese produced in Dmanisi will be exported.
