The Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili visited the medical-recreational resort “Biol” together with Tarzisius Caviezel-the Mayor of Davos and opened a new conference hall.

The Prime Minister talked about perspective development of the resort and thanked its founder Tamaz Mchedlidze for the development of alternative medicine base.

“Tamaz Mchedlidze is a man who created this wonder in Georgia – created a  thing that has never existed in our country, and I would like to emphasize that such patriots will be going forward, and the Georgian authorities will have one of the strongest supporters In order to make such places in Georgia To develop, “- said the premier to the founder of Biol.

According to Giorgi Kvirikashvili, Georgia is participating in the World Economic Forum in Davos every year and has a very interesting relationship with Switzerland in the development of mountainous regions.

“We have a 30% growth this year and I think if Davos can host 2 million visitors a year, Georgia can easily host 10-15 million visitors per year. We have already crossed 6-million mark last year, we think this year we’ll reach 7 million, and if we are at this pace, I’m sure we will be able to exceed 10 million in just a few years. 15 million is the indicator for Georgia, which contributes to the economic well-being of our country.”

More than $ 14 million was invested in the project.
