At the 27th annual World Tourism Awards, one of the most prestigious in world tourism, Mtirala National Park won the title of “Georgia’s Leading National Park 2020”.
The information is spread by the Agency of Protected Areas of the Ministry of Environment and Agriculture.
Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park, Kazbegi National Park, Kolkheti National Park and Lagodekhi National Park competed with Mtirala National Park to receive the World Tourism Industry Award.
Voting for Mtirala National Park was open until September 24, anyone could, from all over the world, on the official website of the event.
