Georgian National Day was celebrated at Expo 2020 in Dubai, attended by the Georgian ministers of Economy and Agriculture, Natia Turnava and Levan Davitashvili.
Expo 2020 Dubai is one of the largest trade and technology exhibitions in the world. Despite the COVID pandemic, interest in the exhibition exceeded all expectations. It’s very important that Georgia is presented with a rather interesting pavilion, visited by up to 2,000 visitors daily,” Turnava said.
The Georgian pavilion presents Georgian alphabet, culture, tourism potential, as well as investment opportunities in innovation, technology, energy and agriculture.

It is a great honour to host Georgia here today. We are proud that the Georgian pavilion is presented at the Expo Dubai 2020. I believe that this exhibition is an opportunity to make new friends and partners, which will be a prerequisite for deepening relationships between Georgia and the United Arab Emirates in the future,” Minister of State in the United Arab Emirates Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh said.
The Georgian pavilion is presented in four themes – traditional winemaking, Georgian script, dynamic and developing tourist destinations, and business environment.
