A new tourist facility opened in Kazbegi, in the village of Gergeti, just a few days ago.

"Pichvis Dzirshi" is the name of the hotel, which so far hosts guests in only one cottage, but according to the founder Giorgi Sujashvili, a second cottage will be added during this summer season.

"The pandemic also contributed to the development of the cottages. Isolated vacations have become a priority for tourists. So far, the main part of bookings comes to us through phone calls and Facebook. The season is entering an active phase, we have already hosted Georgian vacationers several times, however, we have not received foreign guests yet."

Giorgi Sujashvili also mentioned says that initially, he did not have his own capital to start a business, but he was able to implement the idea with the support of the TBC startup program.

The total amount of investment for the first cottage was 97,000 GEL.

As for the future, he plans to expand the business and add three cottages on-site.
