Racha National Park to Cover 64,1 Hectares

Racha National Park will cover 64,115 ha area. As Bm.ge was told in the Agency of Protected Areas, the process of creating Racha National Park is underway.

In particular, with the support of the WWF Caucasus Office, the work needed for the establishment of the National Park was done. The preliminary assessment of the place took place and the contours were identified.

According to preliminary data, the area of ​​the Racha National Park will be 64,115 ha and mainly cover Oni Municipality and the surrounding area.

The draft law on creation and management of “Racha National Park” will be completed by the end of the year and will be sent to the government for approval.
